A lead generation campaign is only as good as the page it sends traffic to. We've seen plenty of well-targeted ad campaigns underperform simply because the landing page wasn't built to close the deal. Here's what we check first.
One Page, One Goal
The biggest mistake we see is sending paid traffic to a homepage with a dozen possible next steps. A dedicated landing page should have exactly one goal — book a call, request a quote, download a resource — with every element pointing toward it.
Match the Message to the Ad
If your ad promises "free consultation for Mumbai businesses," the landing page headline should say exactly that — not a generic "welcome to our website." Message match is one of the simplest, highest-impact fixes we make on underperforming campaigns.
- Headline should mirror the ad's exact promise
- Hero section should show the offer above the fold, no scrolling required
- Form fields should ask for only what you actually need at this stage
Build Trust Before You Ask for Contact Details
Testimonials, client logos, certifications and clear pricing or process information reduce the hesitation someone feels before handing over their phone number or email. A page that's all pitch and no proof will always convert worse than one that balances both.
The best-performing landing pages read like an answer to the exact question the visitor typed into Google — not a tour of everything your company does.
Track and Test Relentlessly
Even small changes — a shorter form, a different CTA color, a rearranged headline — can move conversion rates meaningfully. We treat every landing page as a living asset, running ongoing tests rather than treating the first version as final.
If your current lead gen campaigns are driving traffic but not enquiries, the landing page is usually the first place we look.
